Through hands-on activities three times a week, new and expectant mothers learn what their bodies need to grow a healthy baby, and how to prepare nutritional meals. Emphasis is placed on the use of traditional foods such as caribou and char, and how to use the Nunavut Food Guide. The staff also facilitates workshops for programs across Nunavut.
